Midnight, twilight between two days, two times, intertwined by one fraction of second lived too fast.
Midnight, hour of night, hour of fright, even the air is cold and the atmosphere is dark, the sky, though, is bright.
Midnight, here now, forever lost, never seen, lived too shortly, never have been so close and yet so far.
Midnight, against sun and colors, with grays and stray cats, living with the obscurity, dying from the light.
Midnight, seen once, lived once, lost once, always caught again, on that same hour, same night.
Midnight one day, midnight another week, another month and it'll be this year's midnight.

Je ne saurai pas dire pourquoi, mais j'ai adoré. Il y a beaucoup de rythme et de très jolies images, il m'a fait sourire du début à la fin. En même temps, il donne un petit pincement au coeur, on sent le temps qui passe, inéluctable, and it's midnight again, and it'll be this year's midnight. En plus, étant quelqu'un de nuit, j'y ai retrouvé certaines de ces choses qui me font aimer la nuit et minuit ;-)
Par contre, l'anglais est ta langue maternelle ? Il y a des tournures qui sentent le français traduit, quelques erreurs, quelques lourdeurs... Bref si tu permets, il y aurait quelques modif' à mon avis pertinentes ;)

Je suis ravi de savoir que tu aimes mon poème Xeraphia.
Je suis moi-même quelqu'un qui passe beaucoup de temps la nuit à rester éveillé et j'ai justement écrit ce texte très tard dans la nuit.
Je ne suis effectivement pas anglophone de naissance mais bien franco, je peux admettre qu'il y ait quelques petites choses à changer ici et/ou là ^_^

Je me sens pas trop légitime de commenter là mais
j'ai compris (même si j'ai un peu galérer) et moi aussi j'ai trouvé ça très chouette
Bref, merci pour ce texte, j'ai pas grand chose de constructif à dire, désolé
