Late summer night
And my friends are not far,
I can hear the soft breathings
In the back of my car
The sun sets in a bloody humming
I lick my lips - give a smile,
I feel their pain growing
I feel them going wild
It's all fine when I keep my brain on
No worries just enjoy,
It's all fine when I let my soul cry
No worries they will die
I was told to stay nice
They were meant to lay down,
This road so full of lies
And the back of my car
Mindless
What happened to us all ?
Reckless
We just burnt in this hole
We used to ride all day
But I can't from now on,
Kiss the tar of the way
Windy vibes and mean ones
Flies over the clouds
I won't think - I won't say,
I dug them in the woods
Too easy they were clay
Wry smile, hair down
They finally stay silent,
Grey teeth, mouth closed
And Im glad that it's done
Dry hands, cold thoughts
As the night slowly comes,
Lurk eye, stay tough
Anyway it's all gone

I feel like there's something I don't quite get in the meaning (parce que je suis française ou parce que c'est le propre de ce genre de texte) but I love the melody of it when I read it to myself. I don't know what it is about the English language but it moves me in a completely different way.
Feel free de m'éclairer sur le sens (but I understand if you'd rather keep us dans le noir)!
